November 4, 11, 18, 25 | 4:30-6pm
Students ages 4 and up can join us for a month of process art projects & steam-based learning. We’re focusing on layering, watercolor, mixed media, & optical illusions. We’ll also study art by Henri Matisse & Louise Nevelson.
Drop off begins at 4:25 and pick up is at 6:00pm. A late fee will be charged for late pick-up. Snacks are provided! Students must bring their own water bottle each day!
Wednesday, November 4: We’re bringing out the oil pastels! We’ll work on oil pastel techniques, learn about different types of pastels, and create a fall masterpiece using the skills we’ve learned!
Wednesday, November 11: We’ll create sculptures out of spray foam! This project will focus on intention, fine motor skills, and texture. Get ready for some fun with this project because it’s the FIRST TIME the studio has seen it!
Wednesday, November 18: Everything is better when it’s life-sized! We’re making huge cardboard colorwheels that will emphasize color theory and different ways to incorporate color into our artwork.
Wednesday, November 25: It’s all about perspective as we learn how to make fading landscapes with vibrant colors!
